We only rent our bikes from authorized Harley Davidson rental dealerships. The rental rates are inclusive of

comprehensive insurance cover. All rentals are subject to the respective rental dealerships terms and

conditions which will be provided on confirmation of booking. The rental agreement is between the hirer and

the respective rental dealership and not between AM-Tours and the respective rental dealership!

 Hirers must be in possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of commencement of the

agreement. The minimum age of the hirer shall be 25 years old. The hirer’s driver’s license must have

been valid for a minimum period of 2 years.

 Petrol is not included in our rates. Bikes are delivered full and the hirer shall return the bike full. If

the bike is not filled on return, the hirer shall be charged an extra R300-00. (Fuel is included in

 All bikes are subject to our standard hire agreement. Rates and conditions of hire are subject to

change without notice.

 The minimum charge period will be one day. Rates are calculated from the time the bike is placed in

the hirer’s possession to the time that it is returned to the possession of the rental dealership by drop

off or collection as the case may be. Extension of the hire period beyond the originally agreed date of

termination must be arranged by the hirer by contacting and must be prepaid. Failure to do so will

mean the bike is not insured and, in the event of the bike being damaged or stolen, the hirer will then

become liable for the cost of the repair of any and all damages to the bike of any nature whatsoever

or the replacement cost of the bike. The decision whether to repair or to replace a damaged bike shall

be in the sole discretion of the rental dealership. Where a dispute arises the hirer shall bear the onus

of proving a valid and authorised extension.

 No bikes may be taken across any South African border without the prior written permission of the

rental dealership.

 NO RIDING ON DIRT ROADS, IN A TEST, RACE OR CONTEST.

 The insurance excess is R10 000-00.When the bike is damaged or stolen the hirer hereby agrees to

be solely liable for any loss or damage up to the excess amount of R10 000-00(TEN THOUSAND

 An excess deposit is payable at the commencement of the agreement of hire and will be refundable

on condition that the bike is returned to rental dealership in the same condition in which it was

handed to the hirer.

 The rental dealership bears no responsibility for personal injury or loss of property by the hirer.

 The rental dealership reserves the right to claim payment of rental and insurance in advance.

 All costs or charges incurred in respect of the recovery of any outstanding amount or where it

becomes necessary for the rental dealership to consult attorneys regarding any breach by the hirer of

any provision of this agreement whatsoever including attorney/client fees, collection commissions

and tracing agents fees shall be borne by the hirer.

 Any approval by the rental dealership to any bike being left for collection at any place other than at

the rental depot will be strictly on the basis that, should the bike be stolen or be collected and not be

found in the same condition in which it was received, the hirer agrees to be liable for the total cost of

restoring the bike to the condition in which it was received or for the replacement as the case may be.
